If you also seek for adventure and not just a guided tour around town, let us take you on Tara rafting from Sarajevo!

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a charming country filled with history, contrast, amazing nature and a handful of cultural integrity. When traveling through the country, you are flashed by the greens of the mountains, the blues of the rivers and lakes and earthy colors of the buildings in the cities. Each city here has a story of its own - Višegrad, Mostar, Trebinje… they all have their own legacy and carry the spirit of the past. Some of the most interesting historical facts happened in Sarajevo, the capital of BiH - amongst other things, this is where certain actions occurred that lead to the beginning of WWI. Known as the Jerusalem of the Balkans, Sarajevo is a place worth visiting.

Tara river is one of the most popular choices for rafting in Bosnia and is more fun and more extreme than rafting on the Neretva river. With 23 rapids on a 22 km tour, Tara will definitely be the highlight of your visit to Bosnia. Upon reaching the Šćepan polje border, rivers Tara and Piva create the river Drina, and so you the opportunity to overcome two rivers on your rafting day-trip near Sarajevo, just over an hour away from the city! You will bring home wonderful memories about rafting in the Tara canyon and have GoPro footages of your adventure to brag how you overcame the emerald beauty.

With over 10 years of experience, we pride ourselves as the head organizer of this activity in these areas. We encourage you to come on a rafting trip with us, and perhaps allow us to show you other uniquenesses that BiH has to offer - the history of Višegrad city, the magnificent fields and woods of the National park Sutjeska and exceptional views from the Maglić mountain, the romantical lake Trnovačko, the vineyards in the city of Trebinje, the hidden caves in the mountain areas and plenty more is available to you just a click away.
