This rafting tour flows through three important places: starting with a departure on Tara from Brštanovice, through Šćepan polje, where the descent continues down the Drina river and ends in Hum area (Bosnia and Herzegovina). This means that you have a unique opportunity to conquer two rivers in one try and stream across the borders of two European countries. Depending on the time of the year, rafting on Tara river can be a quick ride for the extreme and fearless, or a smooth sail on the turquoise river. It's up to you to choose, but we definitely recommend you to get to know all the faces of the Tara river.

Be sure that you will have a carefree experience while in safe hands because our instructors have a wealthy experience with over 50 descents per season, as well as the necessary certificates from the IRF. Since the safety of the participants comes first, we provide you with high-quality equipment from leading brands, which meet the highest international standards and possess international certificates and licenses.

What does the one-day tour of rafting on Tara and Drina look like? During 3-5 hours, and 22 km long extreme adventure we will win 23 sparkling rapids, visit unique waterfalls, and wild springs, and paint surreal landscapes. To make it easy to organize, we offer you two departure times: 10:30 AM and 2 PM. As the one-day tour of rafting on Tara takes only a few hours, you can easily combine it with some of our other tours and make your holiday just what you always wanted. You also have the option of purchasing an additional one or two meals for the price of 14 € per meal.

A day to remember begins with your arrival at our base rafting camp, Outdoor resort TARASPORT, which is located in the canyon of the river Drina, 20km from highway Foča-Nikšić. All you need is a sense of adventure and desire for action because every participant receives all the necessary equipment (neoprene suit, boots, protective vest, helmet).

For this activity, you do not need to have previous experience in rafting and you don't even have to be fit - it is available for everyone. From our camp, we transport you in our jeeps to the starting point - Brštanovica. Before the journey, guides will give you all the necessary instructions for the use of equipment and behavior in the boat. And hunting rapids can begin! We board the boat and begin to tame the wild river. The pulse is accelerated to the maximum, adrenalin fills each cell, and laughter and screams bounce off the surrounding rocks. Excitement is growing, while cold water splashes your heated cheeks. During the descent we take breaks for jumping into the water, swim, taking photos, and enjoying the beauty of the mountain springs and noisy waterfalls. The last point of rafting on Tara and Drina is on the banks of our camp. Drina river splashes the beach below our camp, which means that this is where your TaraSport adventure ends. After returning the equipment, full of impressions, we part ways confident that Tara will reconnect us once again. Each participant receives professional GoPro footage of the tour, as a gift from us, that will bring back a smile every time you watch it.

Food

The true identity of a country can be recognized after trying a homemade meal when visiting a venue with traditional values. A great meal can restore strength and energy, it can prepare you for the challenging day in front of you and also warm you up after an exciting day filled with adventure!

At Outdoor TaraSport we nurture domestic, traditional cuisine, which creates a special feeling of welcomeness and intimacy with our guests. All ingredients are produced in the surroundings of our camp, in the same way our ancestors did, centuries ago. These landscapes represent a rare oasis of unspoiled nature in Europe, so the products of our region are unpolluted and healthy. The meals that we offer to you are made of organically grown fruits, vegetables and meat are grown and raised by the local villagers from Durmitor, Maglić, Zelengora and other highlands nearby.

In addition to delicious meals, we offer you authentic beverages of this region. Homemade brandy called “rakija” will surely elevate the mood (plum brandy, pear brandy, apple, quince) along with wines from the finest wineries. A new trend in our area are local beer brewers who make such good beer, they can definitely put some serious beer brands to shame. Traditional alcoholic drinks are not all that we serve - at our restaurant, you can choose from a variety of fruit juices, warm tea from the best herbs and popular hot beverages.

Fun activities, impressive views, and unique surroundings are an amazing way to get to know our country, but the best way to get to know the people is through food. Food is what brings everyone together and it is our wish to have you join us at the table. Our menu is made with a passion for fine cuisine and the joy of introducing our heritage:

For breakfast: uštipci, buns, ham, smoked prosciutto, smoked meat, eggs, sour cream, honey, meadow teas, and sweets of seasonal fruits.
For lunch: muffins, cabbage pies, bread under the ashes, various soups, triftarski beans, the roasting veal and lamb meat, lamb and pork, salads.
For dinner: a brook trout, polenta, potato under the ashes, roasted lamb, hunter's stew, salads, cheeses, ham and prosciutto from Herzegovina.
For dessert: tulumbe, baklava, urmašice.

Notes:

People who are on a special diet should announce this when making a reservation and we will try to respond to your every request and need.
We can serve vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and meals for guests who have certain allergies.
Groups can be served with other types of meals, depending on the wishes of guests and the camp's abilities.
