Day 1 - Check-in
The four-day family adventure in pure nature begins with the arrival in our camp in the afternoon. We will introduce and show you comfortable accommodation in authentic mountain huts where you can rest from the road. Followed by a delicious dinner, and evening social gathering at the restaurant. New friendships, happily relaxing in a natural setting, mark the escape from the monotonous everyday life and enter into a new dimension where you will spend the next couple of days. Follows an overnight stay.
Day 2 - Rafting tour Tara and Drina 22 km
Fresh mountain air and the first rays of the sun will give us a sign to wake up. We drink our morning coffee and fill the batteries with traditional mountain breakfast - we are ready for our adventure today, the race with the biggest rapids of the Tara and Drina.
Each guest receives all the necessary equipment for rafting and instructions for its use and then with our jeeps, we go to the starting point of descent, Brstanovica.
Followed is 3-5 hours of extreme rafting on the wild mountain river, under the safe guidance of experienced and licensed (IRF) TARASPORT skippers. Rafting tour is conducted on the lower part of the Tara and Drina rivers, which abound in rapids and represent the ultimate challenge for all adrenaline junkies and lovers of wild water. During the descent, we’ll make breaks for photographing surreal landscapes, swimming under wild waterfalls, sightseeing of fairytale landscape and capturing memories that change the outlook on life. Loud laughter and shouting, cold water that freezes the blood and soothes rapid pulse, the danger that hovers in the air, and outwitting the unfettered river will be marked deep in the memory of each participant. The word “adventure” after rafting on Tara gets a whole new meaning.
After completing the descent we go back to camp, full of impressions and we return the equipment. Consumed strength we will get back by tasty lunch where we are on the best way to connect tradition and nature, in order to satisfy the taste and the greatest lover of good food. After lunch, rest, socialize, enjoy the environment. The day will end with dinner and going to bed.
Day 3 - Jeep safari tour National Park Durmitor
The third day of family safari adventure in nature begins with waking up and hot coffee in the fresh mountain air.
After a delicious breakfast, we are ready for today's Jeep Safari adventure through NP Durmitor. We depart from the camp through Šćepan polje and Crkvičko polje, the canyon Sušice, through the villages Nikovići and Nedajno, which are the highest permanent settlements in the Balkans (about 2000 m). We reach the canyon Sušice, which forms the border between the Durmitor and Piva mountains and over Mala Crna Gora (Little Montenegro) we arrive in Žabljak. Driving these areas gives us the opportunity to be part of the beauty and elegance of wild nature, with all its pearls will show only those that approach closest.
From Žabljak, over Savin kuk and trough Todorov dol we reach the Piva villages (Pišće, Vojinovići) and enter the heart of the Durmitor. This part of the road you will remember after the surreal scenes (Bobotov kuk 2522 m, stone Prutaš, glacial lakes) and surely you will want to capture them with your cameras.
Through eco-villages Trsa, we descend to the town Plužine and continue driving along the coast of Piva lake and river Piva. From there, we continue towards Šćepan polje and back to the camp where we have a gourmet lunch. This activity can be longer or shorter, depending on your wishes, just let us know in advance so we can book and plan accordingly. Late afternoon hours we spend resting, socializing and enjoying the natural areas around the camp. The last hours of this day will be filled with dinner and overnight.
Day 4 - Cruise Lake Piva tour
And the last day of our trip, we’ll have our first cup of coffee in an authentic natural setting, and then strengthen up with the mountain breakfast, because another unforgettable adventure is waiting for us.
We start our jeeps to Plužine. Here, on the coast of the Piva lake begins our sailing. Peace, raft slides on crystal water, the trout that haunt it, swimming in the lake, view of the high walls and pine trees that hang from them, will chase all traces of anxiety and place calm in everyone's heart. Rest for the soul, relaxation for body and pure pleasure in every moment, this is what you will experience in the encounter with the mountain pearl. The sunkissed lake seems very inviting and it will be a magnificent moment to have lunch surrounded by this beauty.
To take advantage of every moment in the right way, we will take a break for swimming and photographing. After 3 hours of sailing, we return to the city, where off-road vehicles will be transporting us back to the camp, where we say goodbye to you, with several albums full of pictures richer and forever in love with the landscape.
