Day 1 - Check-in
In the afternoon we gather in our camp. Once we meet, you will be placed in a comfortable authentic bungalow. After the rest, comes dinner, and then relaxing at the restaurant. Good music, socializing, friends and complete relaxation will fill the evening ahead.
Day 2 - Rafting tour Tara and Drina 22 km
Waking up in the morning in the beautiful setting of the mountain, followed by a traditional mountain breakfast that gives you all the energy you need for adrenalin adventure that lies ahead.
We are preparing and head to meet wild rapids of the Tara and Drina. Each guest receives all the necessary equipment for rafting and instructions for its use and with our jeeps, we go to the starting point of descent, Brštanovica.
Followed is 3-5 hours of extreme rafting on the wild mountain river, under the safe guidance of experienced and licensed (IRF) TARASPORT skippers. Rafting tour is conducted on the lower part of the Tara and Drina rivers, which abound in rapids and represent the ultimate challenge for all adrenaline junkies and lovers of wild water. During the descent, we’ll make breaks for photographing surreal landscapes, swimming under wild waterfalls, sightseeing of fairytale landscape and capturing memories that change the outlook on life. Loud laughter and shouting, cold water that freezes the blood and soothes rapid pulse, the danger that hovers in the air, and outwitting the unfettered river will be marked deep in the memory of each participant. The word “adventure” after rafting on Tara gets a whole new meaning.
Upon completion of the descent, we get back to camp, full of impressions. There, we return the equipment. Consumed strength, we’ll return by eating a tasty lunch where we are on the best way to connect tradition and nature, in order to satisfy the taste and the greatest lover of good food. After lunch, we rest, socialize, and certainly, this time you can complete with one of our activities in our wide offer. Next are dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 - Jeep safari tour Perućica - Skakavac waterfall
On the last day of the Balkan Explorer tour, we start by waking up early in the morning and with breakfast that will provide us with the necessary strength for today’s adventure.
We are heading with our jeeps to Dragoš sedlo on an amazing Jeep Safari adventure, on a lookout that offers a surreal view to the Skakavac waterfall and the only European jungle, Perućica. We visit the lookout and then descend by the foot to a waterfall, through the heart of the rainforest, where we enjoy the sightseeing of the unique flora and fauna that are found there. Here we will stay for 2-3 hours, supplemented supplies of water in the surrounding wellsprings, take photographs and cool legs tired from walking.
We're going back to the car, and then we come back to the camp. Here we meet the friendly staff with a freshly prepared mountain lunch, which will complete this three-day mountain adventure.
