At TaraSport, family rafting is at the heart of everything we do. Creating safe, exciting, and unforgettable rafting experiences for families is the very essence of our business.

Rafting is the exciting adventure of navigating a river in specially designed inflatable boats called rafts. Every participant—including the youngest adventurers—receives all the essential equipment needed for a safe and enjoyable trip on the water. This includes a wetsuit to help maintain body temperature, neoprene boots, a life jacket suitable for both swimmers and non-swimmers, and a helmet for protection in all conditions, including the sun.

We offer high-quality equipment in a full range of sizes, so you can feel confident that your child will be comfortable and safe throughout the tour. Whenever children join us, our professional rafting guides give them extra attention, making sure they feel secure, involved, and excited to be part of the adventure from start to finish.

The youngest child to join one of our rafting tours was just 3 years old, so we welcome all children aged 3 and above—and anyone who is young at heart!
We offer a 30% discount on accommodation and meals for children under the age of 12.
In addition to staying in our cozy cabins and guest rooms, you can also enjoy camping at the Outdoor Resort TaraSport. Pitch your tent on our spacious grassy campsite, or bring your own camper van or motorhome and stay in our designated parking area.

After the rafting tour, children can continue the fun at our camp. In addition to a variety of board games, sports courts, and playground equipment, we have built a children's adventure park where kids can climb rope obstacles, ride a 50-meter mini zip line, and complete a suspended obstacle course approximately 70 meters long.

Playgrounds like these help children develop hand-eye-foot coordination, overall motor skills, spatial awareness, and self-confidence as they overcome challenges and conquer their fears.

In addition to rafting, we offer a wide range of outdoor adventures that every child is sure to enjoy. We are located near two magnificent national parks, Durmitor and Sutjeska, where we organize jeep safaris in our off-road vehicles, hiking tours through breathtaking landscapes, boat cruises on turquoise rivers and lakes, horseback riding across the Montenegrin meadows, and many other activities suitable for all ages.

Trip itinerary

One-Day Rafting Tour (22 km)

Price for children under 12: €50 per child
Price for adults and children aged 12 and over: €50 per person

10:00 – 10:30 – Participants gather at our camp, meet the guides, receive their rafting equipment, and depart for the starting point by off-road vehicles once all participants have arrived.
11:30 – Arrival at Brštanovica, preparation for rafting, safety briefing, and the start of the tour.
11:45 – 15:00 / 16:00 – Enjoy an exciting rafting adventure down the Tara River, with opportunities for swimming, GoPro photos, and cliff jumping. The tour ends back at the camp where it began. After the tour, please return your equipment and feel free to use the camp showers. Please bring your own towel.

The rafting tour lasts between 3 and 5 hours, depending on river conditions, the speed of the current, and the number and length of breaks along the way.

Please note that each rafting tour is organized for all participants who have booked for that day. We kindly ask for your patience if there is a short delay due to late arrivals.

Two-Day Rafting Tour (22 km)

Price for children under 12: €99 per child
Price for adults and children aged 12 and over: €120 per person

Day 1 – Arrival at the camp in the late afternoon, dinner, socializing and games, overnight stay.
Day 2 – Breakfast, rafting tour, lunch, end of the package.

Three-Day Rafting Tour (22 km)

Price for children under 12: €130.50 per child
Price for adults and children aged 12 and over: €165 per person

Day 1 – Arrival at the camp in the late afternoon, dinner, socializing and games, overnight stay.
Day 2 – Breakfast, rafting tour, lunch, free time, dinner, socializing and games, overnight stay.
Day 3 – Breakfast, end of the package.

Three-Day Rafting Tour (42 km)

Price for children under 12: €177 per child
Price for adults and children aged 12 and over: €210 per person

Day 1 – Arrival at the camp in the late afternoon, dinner, socializing and games, overnight stay.
Day 2 – Breakfast, 22 km rafting tour, lunch, free time, dinner, socializing and games, overnight stay.
Day 3 – Breakfast, 20 km rafting tour, lunch, end of the package.

Three-Day Rafting & Jeep Safari Tour (72 km)

Price for children under 12: €261 per child
Price for adults and children aged 12 and over: €330 per person

Day 1 – Arrival at the camp in the late afternoon, dinner, socializing and games, overnight stay.
Day 2 – Breakfast, jeep safari to the rafting starting point, riverside lunch, 50 km rafting tour, dinner, socializing and games, overnight stay.
Day 3 – Breakfast, 22 km rafting tour, lunch, end of the package.

The true identity of a country can be recognized after trying a homemade meal when visiting a venue with traditional values. A great meal can restore strength and energy, it can prepare you for the challenging day in front of you and also warm you up after an exciting day filled with adventure!

At Outdoor TaraSport we nurture domestic, traditional cuisine, which creates a special feeling of welcomeness and intimacy with our guests. All ingredients are produced in the surroundings of our camp, in the same way our ancestors did, centuries ago. These landscapes represent a rare oasis of unspoiled nature in Europe, so the products of our region are unpolluted and healthy. The meals that we offer to you are made of organically grown fruits, vegetables and meat are grown and raised by the local villagers from Durmitor, Maglić, Zelengora and other highlands nearby.

In addition to delicious meals, we offer you authentic beverages of this region. Homemade brandy called “rakija” will surely elevate the mood (plum brandy, pear brandy, apple, quince) along with wines from the finest wineries. A new trend in our area are local beer brewers who make such good beer, they can definitely put some serious beer brands to shame. Traditional alcoholic drinks are not all that we serve - at our restaurant, you can choose from a variety of fruit juices, warm tea from the best herbs and popular hot beverages.

Fun activities, impressive views, and unique surroundings are an amazing way to get to know our country, but the best way to get to know the people is through food. Food is what brings everyone together and it is our wish to have you join us at the table. Our menu is made with a passion for fine cuisine and the joy of introducing our heritage:

For breakfast: uštipci, buns, ham, smoked prosciutto, smoked meat, eggs, sour cream, honey, meadow teas, and sweets of seasonal fruits.
For lunch: muffins, cabbage pies, bread under the ashes, various soups, triftarski beans, the roasting veal and lamb meat, lamb and pork, salads.
For dinner: a brook trout, polenta, potato under the ashes, roasted lamb, hunter's stew, salads, cheeses, ham and prosciutto from Herzegovina.
For dessert: tulumbe, baklava, urmašice.

Notes:

People who are on a special diet should announce this when making a reservation and we will try to respond to your every request and need.
We can serve vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and meals for guests who have certain allergies.
Groups can be served with other types of meals, depending on the wishes of guests and the camp's abilities.
