Day 1 - Check-in
The tour is intended for real fans of extreme outdoor adventures or those who want to become one, and it starts with coming to Outdoor resort TaraSport in the late afternoon. Your accommodation in these days will be comfortable lodges, and after welcoming you, we will eat the native dinner. Next is a cheerful evening socializing and good night's sleep.
Day 2 - Trekking Maglić, the highest peak of BiH
With the sharp mountain air and inquisitive rays of the sun, we wake up and drink that first cup of coffee. Strong mountain breakfast will restore our strength and with our jeeps, we head towards Prijevor (1683 masl), the plateau at the foot of the Maglić, which is our starting point. From Prijevor we start our trekking adventure to the top of Bosnia. Maglić Mountain is located on the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, and is surrounded by extraordinary natural scenery: River Sutjeska, Piva and Drina and mountains Volujak and Bioč. It is famous for the sheer rock cliffs, where traces of snow are retained throughout the year, which makes it a very attractive destination for all true lovers of trekking around the world. After about 3 hours of walking, we reach the goal, the top Maglić.
From the top of Maglić, you can see a surreal view of the emerald Trnovačko heart-shaped lake which is breathtaking, and all the effort and fatigue are forgotten at the moment. Here we take a break for photographing and enjoying the wide-open spaces and the surrounding mountain ranges that stretch in front of us.
Then we return back to Prijevor, where we are waiting for a vehicle which will return us back to the outdoor center. We arrive at the camp in the late afternoon, friendly staff await us with traditional gourmet lunch that restores body strength, a tired faces smile. Remaining time, we will spend in companionship and leisure activities in the vicinity of the camp. On the order of the evening are dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Rafting tour
On the third day, we will have a real adrenalin treat. Therefore, we fill the batteries to the top with traditional mountain breakfast and we are ready to stand sparkling rapids of the Tara and Drina. Each guest receives all the necessary equipment for rafting and instructions for its use and with our jeeps, we go to the starting point of descent, Brštanovica.
Followed is 3-5 hours of extreme driving on the wild mountain river, under the safe guidance of experienced and licensed (IRF) TARASPORT skippers. Rafting tour is conducted on the lower part of the Tara and Drina rivers, which abound in rapids and represent the ultimate challenge for all adrenaline junkies and lovers of wild water. During the descent, we’ll make breaks for photographing surreal landscapes, swimming under wild waterfalls, sightseeing of fairytale landscape and capturing memories that change the outlook on life. Loud laughter and shouting, cold water that freezes the blood and soothes rapid pulse, the danger that hovers in the air, and outwitting the unfettered river will be marked deep in the memory of each participant. The word “adventure” after rafting on Tara gets a whole new meaning.
Upon completion of the descent, we get back to camp, full of impressions. There, we return the equipment. Consumed strength, we’ll return by eating a tasty lunch where we are on the best way to connect tradition and nature, in order to satisfy the taste and the greatest lover of good food. After lunch, we rest, socialize, and certainly, this time you can complete with a tour from our wide offer. Next are dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 - Canyoning Nevidio
Even on the fourth day, we will not allow the level of adrenaline to fall. A tasty breakfast will give us all the strength and we head for adventure. We take all the necessary equipment (helmets, safety belts, neoprene suits, and boots), then our jeeps will transport us to Durmitor. Attractive unreal landscapes will stun you all the way and you will not resist not to capture it with your cameras.
At the point where the river Komarnica narrows to only 10m, there is barely perceptible, in the walls carved entrance to the canyon Nevidio. At 100m from the entrance is another natural rarity, occasional waterfall Skakavac. Putting on the equipment and the with the brief conversation we get to know you with its use and what awaits us in the canyon, so we safely pass all his traps. The first meeting with steep cliffs and cold water, will leave you breathless and dazzled with its rugged beauty. Most of the canyon is in a perpetual shadow where sunlight does not reach. Anyone who has ever gone through the canyon Nevidio will agree that it is an indescribable feeling, as you swim through a narrow strait, and above you see only a thin line of the sky, or jump into foamy whirlpools from several meters. Fun, adrenaline, joy - all at the same time. The width of the canyon in some places is only a few meters, so for about 3 to 4 hours, which is the duration of the tour, adrenaline will be maximized several times. Our professional guides will help you to successfully overcome all obstacles and find every bit of this hidden mountain pearls.
After exiting the canyon we return the equipment and full of impressions we restore the strength with gourmet lunch prepared in the traditional way from local, organically grown products. Then, with our jeeps, we return back to the camp. Leisure and socializing will fulfill the day, as well as the research of the landscape in the surrounding of the camp. The last is dinner and overnight.
Day 5 - Trekking tour Bobotov kuk, the highest peak of Montenegro
After the morning coffee, we freshen our strength with mountain breakfast and we curiously embark on a new adventure - conquer the highest peak of Durmitor. With our jeeps, we head towards Sedlo 1917 masl, which is our starting point. From the Sedlo, we start our trekking adventure over Surutka - Zeleni Vir - Velika Previja to the Bobotov Kuk, 2522 masl. The altitude difference is around 755 m. During the trek, we pause for a break and taking photos. Durmitor is located in the Durmitor National Park in north-west Montenegro. It is intersected by numerous canyons from which unreal mountain peaks rise. The Tara river canyon has special attention from the National Park, which is included in the world's ecological biosphere reserves.
Then we return back to the Sedlo, from where we will return to the TaraSport center. In the camp, we arrive in the late afternoon, where the staff will meet us with freshly prepared lunch that returns the body strength and smile to tired faces. After lunch, we rest, socialize and explore the surroundings of the camp. The day ends with dinner and overnight.
Day 6 - Check-out
After breakfast, the Extreme border adventure is over and we part our ways richer with one more memory.
