The Via Dinarica (/ˈviːə dɪˈnærɪkə/) is a massive network of hiking trails that traverses the Balkans.With nearly 2,000 kilometers of trails, Via Dinarica winds through Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Albania, offering breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable cultural experiences.

How to Find the Camp

Outdoor Resort TARASPORT is located just 3 minutes away from the international border of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

If you arrive from Montenegro, follow the Niksic - Plužine - Šćepan Polje road. Once you pass the border, you'll get to our camp in a few minutes.

If you arrive from the Bosnian side of the border, you should travel across Foča via the M-18 road, which continues through Nikšić, Tara Canyon, where you'll see both directions well marked. After 30 minutes, you'll get to the small village of Bastasi. Carry on for 10 more minutes, keeping right, and you'll see a traffic sign marked as Outdoor Resort TARASPORT. Alternative Places to Stay on the Via Dinarica

Although we would love to have everyone stay with us at Outdoor Resort TaraSport, ours has a limited amount of space, permitting us to pay the maximum amount of attention to our guests and get to know each other.

It is always best to book well in advance to make sure you reserve the places you want before they fill up. But in case we are fully booked, we have compiled this selection of alternatives in each of the counties along the Via Dinarica: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Albania.

A lot of the Via Dinarica passes through the wilderness; sometimes, accommodation can be under the stars. These are some places we have found in different countries. We have not visited them all, so have a good look before booking!
