And mostly they’re right since the guests who go to a hotel more often than camping are completely different than those who choose camping before cosy hotel accommodation. But, this is not our worry today. All we want to do is to help you decide what is the best accommodation style for you.

Reasons to stay or not in a hotel on your rafting trip

Where to even begin? Usually, people who choose hotel accommodation in Montenegro are often inexperienced rafting guests who don’t know what to expect from nature in Montenegro. Or, on the other hand they’re the guests who want conventional comfort when it comes to vacation. They usually don’t want any surprises, no matter how good rafting camp can be.

  • Comfort without any doubt;
  • Sound and warmth isolation;
  • Chance to be completely alone in the privacy of your own room;
  • Conventional bathroom with all the privacy you need;
  • Chance to fully rest after an exhausting trip to Montenegro and/or after a fun Tara river rafting;
  • Reception call options;

Cons:

  • You can’t experience nature as good, even though you came here for its beauties;
  • You can’t experience mornings in nature just as good as you can during camping;
  • Montenegro and Bosnia’s most beautiful parts aren’t hidden inside but outside of the hotel;
  • Lack of association once you’re back in a hotel room;

Rafting camp - camping in nature why to do it or not?

Camping in nature is usually chosen by those who love nature so much that they go on a several nature trips throughout a year. Also, there are the other ones who are coming on a rafting trip for the first time, and wish to enjoy nature as much as they can. You can call it a redemption trip, or an ode to forgotten nature, but that’s the way it happens. But that’s just the beginning, and what we love the most is the fact that those who experience atmosphere of rafting camp at least once, they always come back to it.

Of course, you should know that there are different types of camping. One includes camping in the mountains and under the tents, during long hiking tours, while there is camping in our rafting camp with cozy bungalows. Right now, we’re talking about accommodation type of camping in controlled environment.

Pros:

  • Nature at it’s best! You can feel it, smell it and breathe it for as long as you’re staying in a camp;
  • Nature adventure is not over when your rafting, hiking or any other outdoor tour is over; nature fun continues once you’re back in camp;
  • You’ll sleep in a little but cosy wooden houses which are well connected with other bungalows and living area for daily activities;
  • You’ll be in the center of everyday activities and food preparing in the center of the camp;
  • There’s a big campfire site where you can gather with your team and other guests from all around the world. It is the place of fun;
  • Late night guitar jams are almost always there;
  • Freshly baked breakfast under the rising Sun, with possibility to splash your face with ice cold water from Tara river. Can it get better?;

Cons:

  • Insects during summer months can be annoying for some people, but you’ll be ok with some anti mosquito spray;
  • Night’s can often get a bit chilly throughout the whole year;
  • Shared bathrooms and rest rooms;
